How To Make
A Naked Loaded

Olive Oil
1 Large Sweet (size of a softball)
1 Green Pepper
1 Red Bell Pepper
Salt or garlic salt
2.25 lbs (6 Links) of Paul Basilio’s State Fair Sausage
6 Soft Sub Rolls

Cut the sweet onion, red bell pepper, and green pepper into thick strips. In a non stick or cast iron skillet pour a thin circle of olive oil about 2-3 tablespoons and add then peppers and onions over medium heat. As they begin to soften, season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until tender and remove from heat.

Pre heat a second skillet up to temperature over medium high for 3-5 minutes and add ¼ cup of olive oil. Carefully add the 6 links of sausage and cook until they reach an internal temperature of 180 degrees.

Remove sausage from heat and add to the peppers and onion to combine the flavors. Place a sausage in a soft sub roll and cover with peppers and onions. That’s a Naked Sausage Loaded with Peppers and onions…
